Skilled Machine Operator for Grand Rapids Company
Employee will train to set up unique machines to form steel coils into tubes.
Employee will need welding and mechanical skills to perform this job on a daily basis.

7am – 3:30pm M – F
$21 per hour

Job Duties for Skilled Machine Operator:
● Setup dies for upcoming jobs
● Properly align dies in winder for quality parts processing
● Must be able to use computer to enter information about current job orders
● Load and band coils with a hoist to assist
● Use of precision measuring devices including: Calipers, Check fixtures, depth gages, etc
● Must be able to routinely lift and manage a maximum of 100lbs
● Monitor for material and process quality
● Employee will also frequently use band saws and plasma torch to cut materials off machine

Requirements of the Skilled Machine Operator

• Must have welding experience/skills
• Must have mechanical skills
• Able to drive a fork lift
• Able to use calipers, gauges, micrometers
• Reliable transportation
• Good computer skills
