Snelling is in search of an experienced Custodian for a local High School in the Grand Rapids area!

2nd shift available – Part-time shifts, $16.50 per hour

Flexible hours are available between 3 pm and 11 pm, M – F.

A clear drug screen and a clean background check are required for this position.

Responsibilities of the Custodian:

• Experience in all phases of cleaning and basic building maintenance
• Excellent attendance record
• Must work well independently with a minimum amount of supervision
• Interpersonal skills
• Organization skills
• Problem-solving skills
• An appreciation for diversity
• Willing to work flexible hours/overtime hours/some weekends
• High school diploma
• Perform daily cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, and restrooms
• Set up for and clean up after special activities
• Knowledge of the operation of floor care equipment or willingness to learn

Additional Requirements of the Custodian:

• Certified Pool Operator Certification a plus
• Previous experience as a janitor or custodian required
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check
